Thank you for TEN YEARS! |
The dust has settled, the Grand Ballroom entrance is desolate, the wristbands are off, the speakers are packed and the feet hopefully have recovered from a spectacular weekend we call The Black Out here in Cleveland.
Thank for you all of the cities & states that were reppin' this weekend. The 10th was a very special milestone for this event and you are appreciated for celebrating with us.
The festivities started Thursday night with 3D's own DJ Butta on the box welcoming the locals and out-of-towners at Pipe Fitters Local 120.
DJ Shorty Smooth and DJ Mellow Khris were a great tag team DJ duo as they provided music and packed the floor all weekend from Rep Yo City through the Farewell Brunch.
The two workshops featured Donnie "Dance Master" Davis from Chicago. We've heard nothing to positive news all weekend. We thank you for the knowledge you shared with the patrons.
The group recognized DJ Rockin' Rodney Mack with a Special Recognition award. Nothing but Dons and Divas love for Mr Rockin Rodney Mack! If it wasn't for his presence at our first Black Out event, we would not be who we are to this day. Thank you, Rodney, for your part in introducing us to the steppers community!  ❤️
For everyone else, here is what we presented to hi surprise on Saturday night. It reads, "You were there when it began 10 years ago. Thank you! Dancin' Dons & Divas" Enjoy and thanks, Rodney!

| Winners of TWO $500 Cash Giveaway Raffle |
To commemorate the 10th Black Out, the group decided to double the winnings of our annual cash raffle giveaway, so TWO people won $500!
The drawing was held during the main event Saturday night. The twist was that we were calling the winners at the party! So as all of the people waved their cell phones in their hands, we called Annette Wash of Cleveland (but left a message as she attended Thursday night so she is not pictured), and Raynard Holmes of Cleveland who walked up to the stage while the phone was ringing LOL
Their names will be added to the Dancin' Dons & Divas Cash Raffle Winners Hall of Fame!
